2019-05-PRDP processing enterprise to promote mangoThe yet to be completed Mango Processing Facility and Marketing of the I-REAP Component will cater to more than 300 members of its proponent group as well as other mango growers of neighboring barangays. 

The Mango Processing Facility and Marketing subproject is being eyed to be a huge contribution in the government’s effort in solving the problem on mango oversupply in Puerto Princesa City.

The Tagumpay Agrarian Auto Savings Multi-Purpose Cooperative (TAAS MPC), the subproject’s proponent organization, was created a few years ago with the assistance of the Department of Agrarian Reform. Now, the cooperative is attached to the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP).

The “Seaweed Production and Marketing” enterprise is the newest rural intervention that is listed to be funded by the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) in the MIMAROPA region. The subproject, proposed by the Pandan Marine Products Marketing Cooperative (PMPMC), was recently approved by the MIMAROPA project advisory board.
